Envisioning Fashion's Invisible Woman

This research sketchbook explores the relationship between age and fashion through the medium of fashion drawing and illustration. Working from life with a septuagenarian muse, insights into issues of visibility, inclusion and fashionability were revealed through drawing and conversation. The sketchbook documents a collection of creative and critical research work, and supports the poster presentation at the British Gerontology Society's 47th Annual Conference; Ageing in an Unequal World (2018), and presentation at the Futurescan 4 Conference (2019).
