This FigShare archive contains a link to the full dataset of the Refugee Youth Volunteering Uganda (RYVU) project, an interdisciplinary research funded by the UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The UK Data Service is responsible for the availability, quality and security of the files, which are deposited in the ReShare online data depository (see link above).

The archive includes the project's quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews undertaken between 2019 and 2022 in four locations in Uganda (Kampala city, and the refugee settlements of Bidibidi, Nakivale and Rwamwanja).

Following ESRC data policy, an embargo period of 12 months is applied to the deposited data to allow for the research findings to be published. Nonetheless, the research team remains fully available at any time for connecting with those interested in discussing the research findings and dataset in further depth. The project's Principal Investigator, Professor Matt Baillie Smith, can be contacted on the email matt.baillie-smith@northumbria.ac.uk and additional information can also be accessed via the project’s website: www.ryvu.org
