Don't Be A Mug - photos from the student project

Images from the ‘Don’t Be A Mug’ Northumbria University Multidisciplinary Innovation MA student project in December 2023 in which a multidisciplinary group of students were challenged to think about how they could bring fairer and healthier ways of living in their hyper-local context - their design studio space.

The project was based on a collection of mugs which had gradually accumulated after being discarded by previous studio community members. They became an entry point for a creative, critical enquiry into the systems and concerns that shape the world and future, and ways to address them through responsible innovation. The project was developed by the Responsible Innovation Hub at Northumbria University. This file shares photographs from the student project.
