SOPs for development and characterization of edible films

This item contains a description of the experimental steps required to develop bioactive edible films (alginate is proposed as a model polymer) and conduct a basic physical characterisation. Also, the procedure required to test release of the bioactive compound in food simulants and its bioaccessibility are included.
