This Working Paper is part of the Refugee Youth Volunteering Uganda (RYVU) project, an interdisciplinary research project funded by the UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

This Working Paper 3 is co-authored by Dr Cuthbert Tukundane and Prof Peter Kanyandago and focuses on the challenges and questions relating to the link between volunteering, skills acquisition and access to employment by young refugees in Uganda.
