Women’s Collective Action and Gender Just Transitions' is a new PhD research partnership between Northumbria University’s Centre for Global Development, the Ethical Trading Initiative and Women Working Worldwide. The project will focus on enhancing gender just transitions in global food supply chains, and will adopt a multi-scalar approach, engaging with actors across global agricultural supply chains. This includes working directly with women workers, and companies in the global south, as well as UK corporate stakeholders to understand how gender just transitions can be equitably achieved. This blog introduces the project and outlines the key research areas involved. More information about the project can be found at Women's collective action and gender just transitions.
